Curriculum Overview

The curriculum at Ellenborough Academy has been developed alongside Unity Research School, Shotton Hall Research School and Voice21. It is built around oracy; developing the communication  speech and language skills that children need in order to be effective communicators. 

Our curriculum is taught in two age ranges, in line with the differences in teaching between the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS - Nursery & Reception) and Key Stage 1 (Year 1 & Year 2).
