Breakfast Club
Breakfast Club is available every day of the school year, FREE and is open to all children from 8.00am.
- Breakfast club : 8:00am – 8:30am
- School Opens: 8.30am
- Registration: 8.45am
We know what it’s like for many parents and carers first thing in the morning with a hectic rush to get out of the house and get everyone to school. That’s why we aim to provide you with a full day of childcare and education in a safe and welcoming environment for your child – starting with an early drop off and a healthy and nutritious breakfast for your child.

The standard opening time for Ellenborough and Ewanrigg is 8.30am, but Breakfast Club allows a drop off from 8.00am. Children are offered breakfast on arrival to get them ready for a busy day of learning and fun.
A choice of cereals, yoghurts, rice cakes and raisins are available daily, along with a choice of hot and cold breakfasts and drinks from the following:
- Toast and hot chocolate
- Croissants or pastries
- Choice of cereals and milk
- Scrambled eggs
After eating breakfast the children have the choice to play with their friends, or take part in structured activities, such as reading, drawing, arts and crafts, board games, lego or circle time and more. Children attending Breakfast Club are then taken directly to class in time for the beginning of the school day at 9am.

How does Ellenborough Academy's Breakfast Club work?
Ellenborough Academy's Breakfast Club is available every day. Places are limited, so please contact us to book a place for your child.
Children must arrive at school by 8:30am at the latest to be on time for Breakfast Club but should not arrive before 8.00am.
